Investigation Report
The investigation began at approx 2130 on Saturday 4th September 2010 at the RAF Holmpton.
On this investigation Adrian Fuller our Spiritualist Medium was unable to attend due to sickness, so we concentrated on vigils. With no medium walk it meant that the group wasn't influenced in any way of what could be haunting the location.
So the group was split into 2 teams for the vigils. The teams consisted of the following 13 Paranormal Team Members and Guests.
Team 1 - Dean Grant, Debbie Wilkinson, Leah Sheridan, Stuart Bend and Susan Sharpe
Team 2 - Peter Moore, Stacey Williams, Jordan Taylor, Nicola Horton and Steve Virgo.
Team 1 investigated Level 1 for the 1st and 2nd vigil, Level 2 for the 3rd vigil and the Communications Room for the 4th vigil.
Team 2 investigated Level 2 for the 1st and 2nd vigil, Level 1 for the 3rd vigil and the Communications Room for the 4th vigil.
Please note for the remainder of this report, it will be about what Team 1 had experienced during the remainder of the nights investigation.
We started the 1st vigil in the Hospital area and the Canteen, the hospital area was supposed to be haunted by a female dressed in a nurses outfit called Margret, she is said to be very welcoming and friendly to anyone who goes to the hospital area, during the filming we did earlier in the night there was a selection of tapping's heard in response to our questions so we thought it would be a great place to start our 1st vigil. During this vigil we did use a Franks box and tried some glass work and apart from a few knocks that was heard that was all that was picked up there, however Stuart one of our training Sensitive's said that he was picking up on a male spirit who seemed to be looking over one of the bunk beds, the name Toby also came through so we will be researching this further.
We moved next door to the Canteen where a spirit of a man is seen regularly and is said to look at visitors and say 'I shouldn't be here'. We all took a seat around the canteen, and Debbie started to get back pain and a very bad headache, so because of this we all moved around and Stuart sat in the same spot and started to get the same feelings, was this paranormal?, so I sat in that spot and I didn't get the feelings as what Debbie and Stuart had got but I was picking up on 2 visuals where I could see a male just relaxing while drinking a beer and the other was an argument where he banged his 2 fists on the table and walks off, I couldn't make out the words he was saying so I don't know what the argument was about. As soon as I was picking this up Leah started to get very hot, and said that she had the taste of blood in her mouth, and because of this we finished the vigil early, but as soon as we started walking out of the area Leah became ill and when we were helping her back to the base room we noticed that she was very hot and was sweating a lot, so we had to get her out as quickly as we could as something was affecting her badly.
The 2nd Vigil was held in the Communications Room and in this vigil Jordan joined us, but as soon as we entered this area, both Jordan and Leah became very uncomfortable of something in the room and Stuart had mentioned that he could feel a very negative presence that wanted us out, both Jordan and Leah became very uncomfortable and because of this we had to take them back to the base room before we could continue the vigil, before we went back to the Communications Room, Stuart had informed us that the negative presence he was sensing was dressed similar to a monk but you couldn't see his face as the hood shadowed his face, at the end of the night we were told that there were reports of a demon at the location so it is possible it was this negative presence. Myself, Debbie and Stuart returned to the Communications Room and it seemed this negative presence was trying to run from us so we were literally on a hunt for this character, we ended up arriving at the Cinema, this is where it has been reported that people find it very uncomfortable in there and have to leave, as we entered the room it was icy cold, we called out to see if this presence would try and do something for us but unfortunately it was pretty quiet, although during this time Stuart was picking up on an airman who was sitting at one of the seats, the name Lance accompanied this airman, we then finished this vigil.
On the 3rd vigil we moved to Level 2, this area holds many offices and dormitory's, but as we moved down towards this area I began getting stabbing pains in my back and I found it very difficult to breathe. After about 5 minutes the pains stopped and we moved downstairs. The dormitory's seemed pretty quiet until we started seeing black shadows move around the room and we caught these on camera and it is very interesting as these shadows seemed to emanate from a particular corner. This activity seemed to disperse so we moved to the other end of the corridor where the Support Offices were, we had heard many bangs and tapping's in response to questions, Debbie was asking numerous questions and one in particular was "do you want us to leave?", and as soon as that happened we heard a loud bang so Debbie asked "do you want us to go to the corridor?" and another loud bang happened but these emanated from the corridor, so we went to the corridor where a few more bangs happened when we asked further questions. After this we did a little experiment which is where we all stand at one end of the corridor and everyone walks down to the other end of the corridor alone, this little experiment is done to see how people react to being alone in a haunted location, walking past numerous doors that are open and you cant see in the darkened rooms, my team did this and it gave us some interesting insights into how the brain reacts to this sort of situation.
Our 4th and final vigil was a mass vigil with all the team and guests in the Communications Room, as soon as we walked in to the room it felt very strange, we all took a seat and began to ask out, both Leah and Stuart both started to feel very uncomfortable by the negative presence again, it seemed that this presence seemed to want to affect the younger members of the team, after a while both Leah and Stuart decided to return to the base room as they both felt very threatened. Myself and Debbie began calling out again and we started to get banging's and tapping's in response to our questions. During this vigil we seemed to see shadows move around the room, and these again were picked up on camera, unfortunately we had to finish the night and it was quite disappointing as the location had so much more to offer and because of this a return visit may be on the cards for our 2011 investigations.
The investigation finished at 0345 on Sunday 5th September 2010.
In all, the investigation was a success, certain areas were more active than others but this is expected in all locations that are investigated.
Team Managers Note - Please note that all footage, audio clips and photos taken on all investigations are always thoroughly analysed for evidence and because of this it is an on-going process. Any evidence that we find will be displayed on the website once we are satisfied of its authenticity.
