Investigation Report

The investigation began at approx 2200 on Saturday 16th October 2010 at the Church Farm Museum.

On this investigation Adrian Fuller our Spiritualist Medium was unable to attend due to sickness, so we concentrated on vigils. With no medium walk it meant that the group wasn't influenced in any way of what could be haunting the location.

The group was split into 3 teams for the vigils. The teams consisted of the following 13 Paranormal Team Members and Guests.

Team 1 - Dean Grant (Vigil 1 only), Debbie Wilkinson, William Billett, and Tina Cheshire.

Team 2 - Peter Moore, Stacey Williams, Margaret Peters, Aleksandra Peters and Steve Gould.

Team 3 - Nicola Horton, Steve Virgo, Lynn Beeston, Sarah Broome, Maria Hansford, Gavin Hill, Claire Hodgson and Heidi Hollas.

On this investigation the groups new CCTV system was put into full use, this was closely watched by Stuart Bend our new CCTV Supervisor on all vigils, and then joined by myself from vigils 2, 3 and 4. The CCTV cameras were utilized in the mud and stud cottage.

After each vigil all teams moved in a clockwise formation around the location.

Team 1 investigated the main farmhouse (vigil 1) - out buildings (vigil 2) - mud and stud cottage (vigil 3) - mass vigil, main farmhouse (vigil 4)

Team 2 investigated the out buildings (vigil 1) - mud and stud cottage

(vigil 2) - main farmhouse (vigil 3) - mass vigil, main farmhouse (vigil 4)

Team 3 investigated the mud and stud cottage (vigil 1) - main farmhouse (vigil 2) - out buildings (vigil 3) - mass vigil, main farmhouse (vigil 4)

Please note for the remainder of this report, it will be about what Team 1 had experienced during vigil 1 and what myself and Stuart had noted from the CCTV cameras for vigils 2, 3 and 4.

We started the 1st vigil in the main farmhouse of the Church Farm Museum, we had the whole farmhouse to ourselves so we decided to work from the top of the house down. We went to the bedroom where people have felt as if they are being strangled, within a couple of minutes of entering the room we started to hear a rocking noise that seemed to eminate from the room next door, I likened the noise to either a wooden rocking horse or rocking chair, so we went to investigate. We moved to the room next door which was like a childrens bedroom / playroom, but when we went in the room the noise seemed to be coming from downstairs. We did carry out a reasonable amount of time in this room but the rocking noise continued so we followed it downstairs to when it stopped.

We moved into the kitchen area of the farmhouse and I started to pick up on a female in her late 30's early 40's wearing a long white dress with long sleeves, and she had either blonde to strawberry blonde hair, I felt as if she was walking down the corridor towards the kitchen and out of the front door, after this I then started to pick up on a boy aged 7/8 with black hair and I got the name Thomas associated with the boy and he seemed to run down the stairs and look in the kitchen and go back upstairs, and finally a male in his late 40's early 50's wearing a green velvet blazer with a bushy beard which was white/grey and his beard had light brown stains on because he smoked, and as soon as I started to pick up on this gentleman the rest of team 1 then started to smell tabacco. We stayed in the kitchen area and Debbie decided to sit in one of the chairs and Tina stood beside her, during this time we heard some strange tapping's coming from behind Debbie, and the taps seemed to be in response to questions we were asking the spirits, after a while Debbie said that she felt the tapping's were coming from underneath the chair. These noises subsided so we finished off the vigil back upstairs in the maids bedroom, but unfortunatly whatever was there didn't want to interact any further. This vigil then was complete.

Vigil 2, 3 and 4 was carried out by Stuart and myself observing the CCTV cameras which were located in the mud and stud cottage, during all the vigils numerous light anomalies were captured on film and they are currently being analyzed and these light anomalies will be put into the locations completed investigation DVD.

All the other teams vigils were completed and many surprising results were captured on the camcorders and some activity was even felt by the team and guests. We had people being touched, poked and pushed, and also strange knockings were heard in response to questions being asked.

The investigation at the Church Farm Museum unfortunately had to come to a close. This location certainly deserves a return visit, and we are currently in the process on getting this location rebooked for our 2011 investigations.

The investigation finished at 0345 on Sunday 17th October 2010.

In all, the investigation was a success, certain areas were more active than others but this is expected in all locations that are investigated.

Team Managers Note - Please note that all footage, audio clips and photos taken on all investigations are always thoroughly analysed for evidence and because of this it is an on-going process. Any evidence that we find will be displayed on the website once we are satisfied of its authenticity.
