Investigation Report

The investigation began at approx 2100 on Saturday 14th May 2011 at the Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex.

The investigation started with the medium walk with our Spiritualist Medium Adrian Fuller.

Please note some names have been omitted from this report in case of any living relatives that may still be alive.

The first stop was the newer of the 2 pools at the complex, in here Adrian had picked up on a figure that was stood at the pool, it was a male and he seemed to be tying his shoe laces up, this man was a policeman. Adrian then picked up on a little girl called Katie, this girl was connected to the location as she had been pushed into the pool and drowned, and that her body was moved to another area of the complex, so we followed Adrian to this area, we then ended up in the smaller of the 2 pools.

In this pool area Adrian picked up that part of the building where it currently stands is on top of what used to be a monastery. A connection with the Everglades was picked up but couldn't be further explained. Adrian picked up on a mischievous spirit who seemed to like to push people into the pool and try to spook them so they wouldn't come back. As we walked around the pool Adrian felt as if the policeman from the larger of the 2 pools had followed us in, this policeman was saying to Adrian that the girl called Katie shouldn't have died.

As we moved around to find this room where Katie was we stumbled across the gym, instantly Adrian picked up on numerous Victorian children from the 1800's, Adrian stated that they were singing, ring-a-ring-a-roses. A male character called David was picked up on and he disliked children and he would be very nasty to them whenever they were around. The name Roger was picked up and he had some connection with the opening of the building sometime in 1968. Names such as Kimberly, Doris and Eric came to Adrian, with them singing a hymn called 'Floating on the breath of evening'. A nun called Sister Thomas was picked up and it seemed she had been banished for wrong doing, seems illicit affairs came into the problem and she can't move on because of this. We decided to move onto the Administration Office.

In the Administration Office again children were picked up on, and Adrian sensed that objects would be moved around here but there were no bad feelings, the character called David who was picked up on earlier would roam the building but he would not enter this room and finally we moved to the Female Changing Rooms.

In the Changing Rooms Adrian felt there was a vortex but it was of good energy, but apart from that, that was all that was picked up on in here.

So with all this in mind it was time to start the vigils.

The group split into 3 teams due to the overall size of the location. The teams consisted of the following 13 Paranormal Team Members and Guests.

Team 1 - Dean Grant, Debbie Wilkinson and Stephanie Watson

Team 2 - Helena Sanders, Adrian Fuller, Cassandra Woods and Kyle Klacksa

Team 3 - Kris Dean, Lindsey Jubb, Angela Ahmad and Ainsley Tompkins

Please note for the remainder of this report, it will be about what Team 1 had experienced during the remainder of the nights investigation.

We started the 1st vigil in the large pool area, we began walking around the area just to get the feel of the place, and we seemed to stumble across some strange noises coming from the pool, at the time we thought it sounded as if someone was swimming in the pool which at the time is impossible. We called out to see if the same noises could be done again and low and behold the noises started again, we decided to move further down the pool to see if the policeman Adrian had picked up on earlier was about, and we did ask him to move a chair or try to affect the EMF reader but nothing happened, however I decided to use my dowsing rods, and almost instantly we were getting answers, but unfortunately due to the nature of the questions asked we will not be listing them in this report. After this session with the rods came to an end we moved to a gym which is just above the large pool area, in here we tried using the dowsing rods and again instant results, but unfortunelty again we won't be listing what was said due to the nature of the questions, but apart from this we were getting knocking s from a particular area which we went to investigate, but as soon as we did that the noises stopped and the atmosphere seemed to go quiet, so we decided to move onto the next vigil.

The 2nd Vigil was held in the small pool, in here we started to walk around the pool and get a feel for the place, we decided to sit down on the benches which were scattered around the pool and we began calling out, a few moments in we then started to here tapping's and at one stage Debbie said she felt something touch her back. I decided to move to the other side of the pool whilst Debbie and Steph started calling out, I sat down and almost instantly it felt as if someone had grabbed hold of my hand, at the time it made me jump but I asked the spirit to do it again, and suddenly this strange hot sensation started on my hand and it was as if someone was holding my hand, Debbie and Steph came to investigate and they took a temperature reading of both hands and on the hand that had this strange sensation it was hotter by five degrees, the sensation went and my hand returned to normal, until 10 minutes later I got the sensation of someone stroking my hand, this again startled me but this was fantastic to experience. We moved to an office which was pool side, in here I was asked to use the dowsing rods and 5 minutes in the girl called Katie came through, and as we were asking Katie to show herself as a light, Steph got very excited and informed us that 2 lights flashed behind me, one light flew behind me moving from left to right and the other light seemed to hover over my left shoulder then it disappeared, both lights were verified during footage analyse and we are very happy with the authenticity, this ended this vigil, but it was straight into the next.

Our 3rd vigil was held in the gym and Administration Office, in the gym we all sat down and started to call out, and after a long while nothing happened so we decided to move to the Administration Office to see if anything would happen in there but unfortunately the same fate was had from the time we spent in the gym, this was a disappointment as we did feel there were spirits around us, this vigil ended but it was onto the mass vigil.

The final mass vigil was held in the Female Changing Rooms where Adrian had picked up on a vortex; the team all sat down and prepared to start. We started calling out and we were asking for the spirits to show themselves or make a noise, but it seemed the locations spirits wanted an early night as the location remained quiet for the rest of the night, so we ended this vigil and called it a night.

Although for most of the team the activity stopped after the 2nd vigil both myself and Steph experienced something very peculiar during our base room clean up session between vigil 3 and the final vigil, whilst the rest of the team were outside getting fresh air. At the time we were cleaning the tables and the area we were using, and both me and Steph heard what sounded like a little girls laughter, this startled us as at the time we thought someone may have been calling for help and that they may have fallen into the smaller pool next door, so we charged through and found out that the building was empty apart from me and Steph, as we returned to the large pool the rest of the team re-entered the building, one of the team said to us "you 2 look like you've just seen a ghost" to which we replied "nope, but we think we've just heard one". When we discussed this we were certain that the laughter came from within the building and because of the echo it had to come from within the large pool area, at the time we had no cameras filming and we are absolutely gutted we didn't capture this on film as if we had we would have had definite proof that something is at the complex and that me and Steph had defiantly heard it.

The Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex is a large building holding many rooms which are used all the time or rarely, it was great for the team to experience an unusual location which was reported to be haunted. It was a very interesting location and we are very pleased to have investigated there.

The investigation finished at 0345 on Sunday 15th May 2011.

In all, the investigation was a success, certain areas were more active than others but this is expected in all locations that are investigated.
