 Investigation Report

The investigation began at approx 2100 on Saturday 3rd September 2011 at Morecambe Winter Gardens.

On this investigation Adrian Fuller our Spiritualist Medium was unable to attend, so we concentrated on just a pure vigil investigation. With no medium walk it meant that the group wasn't influenced in any way of what could be haunting the location.

The group was split into 2 teams for the vigils. The teams consisted of the following 13 Paranormal Team Members and Guests.

Team 1 - Dean Grant, Stephanie Watson and Caroline Mitchell

Team 2 - Steve Virgo, Emma Lomas, Rachel Thomas, Lynette Spencer and Helena Donegan

Please note for the remainder of this report, it will be about what Team 1 had experienced during the remainder of the nights investigation.

We started the 1st vigil on the Higher Gods area. We all took a seat on the circle and we all began to call out, at first it seemed very quiet but about 10 minutes in I had a big shock which was going to be one of many from just this first vigil, at the time I had my back towards the main aisle and had the camera focused on Steph, Caroline and one of the MWG volunteers Peter, so I had no preparation for what was about to be experienced, literally 3 loud bangs were heard behind me and it was as if someone was running behind me on the row of seats higher, and it was that real that I expected to see someone stood there, this wasn't the building settling at all this was as if someone had run up behind me, let's just say many expletives were heard from me as it did shock me. As soon as I had calmed down we began calling out again but then I felt as if someone was stroking my hair, this was not wind or movement as I was sat down, this was as if someone was stroking my hair, this stopped but as soon as it did my fleece began being tugged, my fleece was pulled at least 5 times and it was as if someone was trying to get my attention, but after my earlier shock I wasn't prepared to turn around to look at what if anything was tugging my fleece or stroking my hair. About 15 minutes later and nearing the end of the vigil I happened to look up towards the very top of the building where the old projection booth was and I saw an apparition, yes you have read this right an apparition, I am that certain on what I saw that I would stake my life on it, the image was of a male and it was a side image from waist height up, the apparition moved from the right of me to the left and disappeared after about 3 metres of it moving, we went to investigate this and found out that where the apparition disappeared was where a set of ladders were that led to the roof. We did discuss the possibility ofoutside lighting or a car light causing this but outside light wasn't the cause and as cars past the window a reflection would be seen on half the roof and at the time of seeing this there was no light on the roof at all, I believe that I did see an apparition and sceptics out there will always find an excuse to make this a natural incident but I know what I saw, and those who don't believe me I advise you to go to the Morecambe Winter Gardens and experience this for yourself, this ended this vigil.

The 2nd Vigil was held on the Lower Gods area, I have had experiences here on previous visits so I was keen to start on this area. On this floor I began walking towards the male dressing rooms and when I reached the bottom, I introduced myself to the spirits which I always do out of respect and as soon as I had said that I heard a males voice say 'YEAH', so I called the rest of team 1 down to investigate, we were getting some noises from the corridor, so we decided to try some dowsing rods to see if we could narrow down who this spirit was, the dowsing rods were giving us the signs of a male, but a few questions in the rods stopped moving so we asked out if a female was with us and suddenly the rods started to move again. We have done this before where we use 1 rod and ask the spirit to point the rod to where they are standing, when we did this the rod pointed to the corridor, so that's where we headed, we stood half way down the corridor and asked the same question, the rod pointed down the corridor so we went further down to the end of the corridor. We asked the spirit of this female to make her presence known and Steph said that she felt her arm was being stroked, she claimed that it was as if a hand was stroking her arm, this stopped after about a minute but after this Steph then started to feel as if someone was stroking her forehead but again this stopped, so we moved to the ladies bar and started some table tipping. We all sat down and put our hands on the table and began to ask the spirits to move the table, during this session the table did feel at times as if something was going to happen as you could feel the table vibrating, we kept calling out but as we did, noises were heard around us like banging's and tapping's, but unfortunately our time had come and we had to end this vigil.

On the 3rd vigil we located ourselves on the stage, this was the area of a negative presence. Here we stood on the stage behind the fire blind and started to call out, and even after 30 minutes the stage area was exceptionally quiet, so we decided to move on, so we went to the bar area, although used as storage now we could gain access, again we called out and we started to hear noises from the corner of the room, which unfortunately we couldn't access to investigate, but definite noises were heard, we carried on calling out and after about 20 minutes it went very quiet again, but after all this time we had to end the 3rd vigil, however we were looking forward to the next as we were going to try a music experiment.

Our 4th and final vigil both team 1 and team 2 congregated around the ground floor, lower gods and higher gods seating areas. Myself and Steph sat on the stage and started playing some music, we began with some 1940's wartime, during these songs the large fire blind on the stage was banging away, but just on one side, we were trying to rationalize these noises but we struggled to as when we moved the fire blind ourselves we couldn't recreate the sounds. Next we decided to play a modern track, so we played Lady GaGa, during this song no noises were heard but when we asked after the song if the spirits enjoyed it the fire blind began moving again. We stopped playing music and began calling out for the small amount of time we had left, during this time members of the team and guests were saying that they were hearing noises around them and one had said that they heard a voice saying 'HELLO' next to them, a final push to get the spirits to try and show themselves came to an end as the investigation came to a close.

This ended the investigation. We all enjoyed the investigation and can't wait to reinvestigate again in sometime in the future.

The investigation finished at 0300 on Sunday 4th September 2011.

In all, the investigation was a success, certain areas were more active than others but this is expected in all locations that are investigated.
