 Investigation Report

The investigation began at approx 2230 on Saturday 29^th October at the Boston Gliderdrome.

The investigation started with the medium walk with our Spiritualist Medium Adrian Fuller.

Please note some names have been omitted from this report in case of any living relatives that may still be alive.

The first stop was a new area for the team, it was the storage area, this is mainly where furniture from the Gliderdrome gets moved to during special nights which are held in the other main rooms, in here Adrian picked up on a male crouching in the corner, he was wearing a long black robe with his head covered, the words Clayton and Macclesby were mentioned in connection with this figure. Adrian also picked up on the area being very different, and that he saw an archway which was a walkway to an entrance, it seems that the building could have been a religious building, this was later verified. A connection with monks was very strong in the area, Adrian said that they would come together for 9 days only eating bread and water, a fast, Also the name James and 1504 was also picked up in this area.

We moved onto the next area of this fantastic location which was the Bingo Hall, Adrian picked up on a female who was stood at the counter where a selection of plants stood, which Adrian said she would move to make the counter look pretty. The female was connected to the building sometime in the 1950's, the name Betty who was a cleaner was picked up on. Also the name Mirrian worked at the Gliderdrome too, alongside Betty. The dates 1952 - 1957 were connected with Betty, this was possible the time she had worked at the Gliderdrome, this was later verified. Adrian also mentioned that Betty loved the place that much that she wants to keep going back to see how the building is keeping, and if it was untidy she would tidy the place up. Adrian mentioned that he was picking up on numerous plague victims, and that there were 16 of them walking together going around the Gliderdrome, the name Joseph was picked up with these 16 characters.

The next area we visited was the Starlight Lounge, in here Adrian picked up on a battle, but it was a battle between light and dark entity's, the location would change at 9pm every night from light to dark entity's, the 16 figures which were picked up on earlier had moved to the Starlight Lounge and the name Morris was picked up with them.

In my groups 1^st vigil was myself (Steph), Helena, Cass, Steve and Pat (my mum), and our first area to investigate was the Bingo Hall. I started calling out for spirits to come forward mainly towards a woman named Betty who was picked up by our medium earlier on. The area felt comfortable and there were some noises like clicks and taps of various sounds, but the sceptic in me put it down to the noises of the building. We did get the sense that there was a type of spirit energy with us and we did try to do some glass work but there didn't appear to be any real response.

In the 2^nd vigil we investigated the Starlight Lounge, stage and balcony. Up on one part of the balcony we did some calling out and played a bit of music. This area is very dark and the only way I could see anyone was through the camcorder and I did experience my own personal experience which to me felt very definite at the time. I was filming with the camera standing still and was just about to say something to Helena, who in my mind was stood behind me, when I glanced in the camera view and saw her in front of me and realised that everyone was in front of me, nobody behind me. The feeling and sense of there being someone behind me was really strong and for me to of nearly spoken to them was a good personal result for me.

The Boston Gliderdrome is a fantastic building which holds many rooms which are used all the time or rarely. It was a very interesting location and we are very pleased to have investigated there.

The investigation finished at 0515 on Sunday 30^th October 2011.

In all, the investigation was a success, certain areas were more active than others but this is expected in all locations that are investigated.

We then moved to the Dressing Rooms behind the stage, in here Adrian picked up on a male figure who was wearing a shirt and braces, he was of a stout build and he was called George, he seemed to be a caretaker and was present during the 1940's to the 1950's, this character was a pipe smoker, George had passed away by heart attack, he seems to walk the corridor connecting all the dressing rooms, and at one of the rooms Adrian said that he had popped his head into one of the dressing rooms saying 'come on girls' as if to rush them out onto stage.

The next area we visited was the Dressing Area to the right of the stage, Adrian picked up on Eric, he was very active in this room, he seemed to be very angry and didn't want us in the area, he told Adrian that 'things were not going quick enough' but he was laughing saying that he was getting the last laugh.

In the Bar which is towards the back of the Gliderdrome was the next stop, in here Adrian was picking up on an oppressive feeling, again the plague was picked up in this area, and a strange energy was around us but Adrian couldn't pick up what it was, so we decided to move to the next area as the Bar area seemed a little inactive.

The Balcony was our next port of call, here Adrian picked up on a male who was an alcoholic, this man seemed to have fallen over the balcony due to always being drunk, heavy breathing was picked up with this male, and also a lot of energy was around this area of the Gliderdrome.

So with all this in mind it was time to start the vigils.

The group split into 5 teams due to the overall size of the location. The teams consisted of the following 13 Paranormal Team Members and Guests.

Team 4 - Paul Jackman, Paula Walsh, John Hubball and Joann Jones

Team 5 - Stephanie Watson, Pat Franks, Steve George, Helena Sanders and Cassandra Woods
